It is our claim that our customers get the best service and the best remediation products available anywhere. That is why we started researching and developing our own processes over 30 years ago. Only renovation products that withstand special stress tests and have proven permanent safety against moisture penetration make it into our portfolio.
First procedure against moisture in buildings
Know-How Company with the highest quality standards
Our first method against moisture in buildings was the ISOTEC horizontal barrier. It was developed in over 20 years of cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology under the direction of Prof. Dreyer. In addition to successful scientific and practical tests, the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing then confirmed in 2004 that the ISOTEC horizontal barrier is "highly effective" against rising damp. In this sense, we still see ourselves as an innovation driver in the renovation market.

Extensive scientific and practical tests
Our graduate engineers check the effectiveness of the products available on the market through rigorous tests, trials and analyses. This procedure makes us independent of manufacturers and allows us to decide exclusively according to the highest quality standards. We also like to involve students and universities in our research work. Among others, the Universities of Applied Sciences Münster, Cologne and the TU Dresden. We have supervised numerous diploma theses. We like the students' thirst for knowledge and curiosity. We value their work, with which they help to make our products and processes even better. We see ISOTEC as the know-how company when it comes to the professional restoration of moisture or mould damage.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT: CONTINUED
This means that before a product or trade is actually used at ISOTEC, it has to travel quite a long way, often for years. Here, research and development is the "be-all and end-all". Only when it is 100 percent certain that the process really works and keeps the masonry tight is it included in our catalogue of services.
Education and training
"We train both the technical staff, i.e. those who ultimately carry out the renovation, and the ISOTEC consultants who analyse the moisture damage," explains engineer Bogs. We let our employees participate in our research and development as part of their training and further education. Because the best process is basically pointless and useless if it is not professionally connected to the masonry.
No wonder, the sequence of the renovation steps, the millimetre thickness of the sealing material, all this has to be mastered by heart, because only in this way can we guarantee the success of the renovation for the customer with top-trained employees. That is why each of our technical training courses ends with a detailed performance and knowledge test that contains detailed questions and contributes to quality assurance for our customers.
